Our Story: From Caracas to the Coast

The name Macawii was born in the skies above Caracas, Venezuela. Growing up, co-founder Rafa watched the city’s vibrant Macaws fly overhead, a symbol of color and resilience that stayed with him long after he left.

His journey was shaped by a home that valued the essentials: a solid education, deep-rooted discipline, and the grit of high-level competitive sports. In a world where famous labels were often out of reach, Rafa learned early on that true quality isn't about a price tag, it’s about the utility and the character of the person wearing it.

That vision found its match in Madara. Born and raised in Latvia, Madara’s life was built on a foundation of strict athletic discipline and an uncompromising competitive spirit. She is the engine that drives our standard of excellence; when she sets a goal, she meets it.
